Who is Jesus?

Jesus: More than just
a Great Teacher
Today, many around the world would say that Jesus was just a great human being or a religious teacher. Time magazine called Him the most influential person who has ever lived.
The Bible tells us that He is the Son of God and the Saviour of all mankind. He was born in Bethlehem to the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life and taught about love, forgiveness and the Kingdom of God. His teachings, miracles, and compassionate acts drew many followers, and His message emphasized the importance of faith, repentance, and living a life aligned with God’s will.
Jesus' Sacrifice and Victory Over Death
He was betrayed, tortured and crucified – an act that was the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of humanity. That includes me and you! Three days after His death, Jesus rose from the dead.
The Power of the Resurrection
His resurrection brought us victory over sin and death and offers us eternal life and a restored relationship with God.
He Cares for You !
Often times, it can be hard for us to believe that we are worthy of God’s love because of our failures, history and shortcomings. Sin first separated us from God and His love cannot be earned by our own good works.
When we accept God’s love, we are trusting that He is gracious and forgiving towards us no matter how far we have gone. Only He is able to free us from guilt, shame and condemnation. All we have to do is go to Him.
The Bible tells us in Romans 8:38 – 39:
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Starting a New
Salvation is a free gift from God to us where we are adopted into His family, becoming His children. To be saved is to turn from our old ways and turn to Jesus, submitting to Him and His plans for our lives.

Dear Lord Jesus,
I come to you acknowledging that I am a sinner. I ask for your forgiveness of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sin, and recognise that Your mercy and grace is gift for me because of Your great love. I ask for You to cleanse me and make me Your child. By faith, I receive you into my heart as the Lord of my life. Help me to live for You from now on.
