At the Online Service on 25th April 2020 during the Holy Communion segment, Pastor John Koe shared his testimony about his son falling sick each time he goes for an overseas trip, and how the power of Holy Communion had stopped this.
I was reminded of how this had been for me too. For many years, whenever my spouse has to be away, I will come down with various sicknesses, most notably fever. The first time it happened, he had gone away for his in-camp training. Even before he had arrived at his camp, I was down with fever!
This went on for many years and things finally changed when we decided to partake Holy Communion as a family before any of his overseas trips. From then on, this recurring cycle was fully broken. I urge everyone to not treat Holy Communion as a formality, but trust deeply in our hearts in the power of our mighty God!
