Dear Petrans & Vistors,

As the COVID-19 situation develops, we are constantly weighing the options for our services, meetings and other activities, as well as evaluating our precautionary measures.

Our priorities are for us to be able to continue to meet as a family to worship and seek God together in the safest environment possible. At the same time, we understand some of us may not be able to attend services and other meetings physically. In careful and prayerful consideration of various factors, our decision is to carry on with some of our meetings, postpone some meetings, and leave the decision for some meetings to the respective groups:

1. Worship Services, Youth and KOTR/Pebbles will continue as usual.
We have begun live streaming both Chinese and English services on Facebook and YouTube.

2. Combined Prayer Meetings will continue as usual.

3. All Courses and Ministry-level outings are postponed until further notice.

4. LifeGroups and Ministry-level meetings can continue, with options to meet online.

Petra Community has adopted precautionary measures for services and meetings that are continuing as usual. These measures are in place to ensure the well-being and safety of all Petrans and our visitors.

1. Temperature screening will be conducted at Level 1 car park at Bible House before our services, and at Basement 2 on all other days.

2. All Petrans and visitors will be required to make a health and travel declaration before entering our church premises. This declaration will require name and contact number recording, in the event contact tracing becomes necessary.

3. The following will be turned away at our meetings and services:

(a) Individuals who have recently visited China in the last 14 days;
(b) Individuals who have been in contact with someone who has recently visited China in the last 14 days;
(c) Individuals who have contact history with someone suspected of or confirmed with COVID-19;
(d) Individuals who are placed on Leave of Absence (LOA) or Stay-Home Notice;
(e) Individuals who are unwell with fever (37.5 C and above);
(f) Individuals with respiratory symptoms such as cough, running nose or shortness of breath.

4. Petra Community will increase the frequency of cleaning of our premises.

5. All church staff and Petrans are encouraged to monitor their personal health, especially those who have travelled overseas, and should take their temperature regularly for 14 days from their date of return.

6. Petrans are also strongly encouraged to observe good personal hygiene, such as frequent hand washing with soap and wearing of masks if they develop respiratory symptoms. We are using the Health Advisory from the Ministry of Health on good hygiene practices at as a guide.

As the situation evolves, we will adapt accordingly and keep everyone informed. Visit or download our App for the latest developments. In the meantime, should you have any queries, please call us at 6223 6993 during office hours or write to us at

Let us continue to proclaim Psalm 91 over ourselves, our families and our community, as well as all who have been affected by this viral spread.
